About Transferring Calls

There are two types of transfers:
- A Blind Transfer passes the call directly to someone else
- An Assisted Transfer allows you to speak to the receiving party before transferring the call to them
Blind Transfer
- After receiving a call, press the transfer (or 'xfer') key
- Dial the person to whom you wish to transfer and immediately hit transfer again
Assisted Transfer
- After receiving a call, press the transfer (or 'xfer') key
- Dial the person to whom you wish to transfer and hit Dial
- Once you've spoken with the receiving party, hit transfer again to complete the transfer
Strait to Voicemail Transfer
- After receiving a call, press the transfer (or 'xfer') key
- Dial #extension of the person you want to transfer to voicemail and hit transfer again
ex. #1000 to go strait to extension 1000 voicemail
