Set Up a Third-Party Soft-Phone (X-Lite Example)

We have our own softphone app here. Other third-party ones are available, one example of a free one to try out is the X-Lite from Counterpath. (http://www.counterpath.com/x-lite.html)

Once you have a soft-phone installed, set up the account as follows.

1. Click the "Softphone" menu from the top left-hand corner
2. Select "Account Settings"
3. Enter the following account settings (provided by iTel Support)

• User ID
• Password
• Domain

Hints

Leave the "Auth Name" field blank - put nothing there!

The rest of the settings can be left default.
