A factory reset will revert your phone's configuration to what it came with from the factory. Changes you've made during the life of the phone may be lost unless stored in a configuration file by the iTel Support Team. Many issues may necessitate a factory reset. You should only follow these directions when advised by the iTel Support team.
Polycom SoundPoint IP Phones
- Press the "Menu" button.
- Select "Settings".
- Select "Advanced".
- You will be prompted for a password. Enter "89558" or "456" or "654" and press "Enter".
- Select "Admin Settings"
- Select "Reset to Defaults".
- Select "Reset Local Configuration" and press "Yes" when prompted.
- If your phone rebooted itself then repeat steps 1-6 after it has booted back up. Otherwise continue to the next step.
- Select "Reset Web Configuration" and press "Yes" when prompted.
- If your phone rebooted itself then repeat steps 1-6 after it has booted back up. Otherwise continue to the next step.
- Select "Reset Device Settings" and press "Yes" when prompted.
- Your phone will reboot.
- Follow steps 1-6 again.
- Choose "Reset To Factory...".
- Your phone will reboot again.
- Give it a few minutes after booting to connect to the network.
Your phone is now at factory settings and likely not functioning. Do not worry. The iTel support team has likely sent you a link to another article to follow after performing these steps.

- Press the "Home" button.
- Select "Settings".

- Your phone will reboot.
- Follow steps 1-6 again.
- Select "Reset To Factory...".
- Your phone will reboot.
