Set Up the Profile Rule on a Linksys Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA)

Step I: Connect the ATA

  1. Plug the supplied power adapter into the ATA power jack and the other end into a standard power outlet
  2. Run an Ethernet cable from a working network jack to the Internet port on the ATA

Step II: Get the IP Address of the ATA

Method A:

  1. Plug an analogue phone into the "Phone 1" port on the ATA using a standard phone cable.
  2. Dial ****110# on the analogue phone and write down the IP address it tells you

Method B:

  1. Get the MAC address of the ATA off the label on the bottom
  2. Log into your network router and find the list of connected LAN clients.
  3. Look for the ATA's MAC address n the list
  4. It will display its current IP Address there

Step III: Change the Profile Rule

  1. Open up your Internet browser (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari) and type the IP address of the ATA into the address bar. Note, your computer must be connected to the same network as the ATA
  2. Click "Admin Login" in the top right-hand corner
  3. Click "Advanced" in the top right-hand corner
  4. Click the "Provisioning Tab" from the navigation bar at the top of the screen
  5. Enter the "Profile Rule" address provided to you by iTel Support
  6. Hit "Save Settings" at the bottom of the page
