Step I: Connect the Phone
- Plug the supplied power adapter into the power jack and the other end into a standard power outlet (this is not applicable if you are using POE)
- Run an Ethernet cable from a working network jack to the LAN or SW port on the phone
Step II: Get the IP Address of the Phone
- Press the Settings Key on the phone (it looks like a page with a corner folded)
- Scroll down and select "Network"
- Observe the IP address
Step III: Change the Profile Rule
- Open up your Internet browser (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari) and type the IP address of the phone into the address bar. Note, your computer must be connected to the same network as the phone
- Click "Admin Login" in the top right-hand corner
- Click "Advanced" in the top right-hand corner
- Click the "Provisioning Tab" from the navigation bar at the top of the screen
- Enter the "Profile Rule" address provided to you by iTel Support
- Hit "Save Settings" at the bottom of the page
- Wait about 30 seconds and restart the phone (See Restart a Linksys or Cisco Phone)
